The cost of furniture manufacturing materials and fuel in the UK rose 20.5 percent in April from a year earlier, according to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ons).Since July 2021, the cost has all increased by around 20%.In April, factory UK furniture prices rose 7.5 per cent year on year; retail civilian furniture prices rose 16.5 per cent, close to their highest level in March.
