London-based shared working leader WORKSPACE GROUP announced the acquisition of British commercial property investment firm MCKAY SECURITIES.The acquisition is worth £272 million, or about 2.3 billion yuan, and is expected to be formally completed in May 2022.WORKSPACE and WEWORK, the founder of office sharing, are flexible office space providers.MCKAY specializes in the development, renovation and management of office buildings, industrial and logistics properties in the South East, UK and London, and owns 34 properties.WORKSPACE believes the acquisition of MCKAY will expand WORKSPACE's office space market share in the UK.
